A little bit about me, I am a husband and father of three girls. I’m a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a native of Southern New Jersey and life long Philadelphia Eagles fan. I live in Northern California now but I still support my East Coast teams.
As a kid my family had to struggle to get by but that was OK because it taught me how to work for the things I wanted in life. I love sports and played everything as a kid. I enjoy meeting people and learning about their past experiences and journeys.
After high school I attended the University of Delaware for a few years and entered the Air Force Reserve while at Delaware. Curious about full time Military life instead of just the weekend warrior role I joined the Air Force full time. I spent nearly 7 years in the Air Force, Traveled to several Military Bases in the U.S. , Europe and the Middle East. I had a good time in the Air Force and saw a lot of interesting things to say the least but my desire to finish my college degree was strong so I left after my last Middle East assignment.
Upon my discharge from the Air Force I returned to college in California and got a degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PT). I worked in the medical field as a PT Assistant for over 20 years and truly loved it. But the medical field has been on a roller coaster ride for many years now and I found myself increasingly frustrated. And I knew I needed to change direction again.
One thing I always tell my family is that, “The only constant in life is change”. So I took my own advise and in November of 2015 I decided I needed a career change and I left the Physical Therapy field.
One of my goals for a long time was to have my own business and to get a little bit more control of my destiny. I felt like the time was right to make a change and so I did. It has taken a little getting use to but I am happy and feel good about my decision. Now I get to enjoy my family a little more and spent time pursuing my goals instead of someone else’s goals.
There is a lot to do here in Northern California if you are an outdoor person. And since I really enjoy fishing I have been able to do a lot of Large Mouth Bass and Striped Bass fishing over the years. Northern California has some of the best fishing spots in the country with the California Delta close by and well over 10 different major lakes nearby as well.
On top of all that for over 10 years I have been involved in the IT field at various levels. I left the PT field for a few years to work in IT building and repairing computers and I even helped with maintaining the computer network as a certified computer tech for a major U.S company. When the IT field slowed down I returned to PT and restarted my PT career in some of the local hospitals in the area.
I have built multiple websites for myself and others over the years. I have created numerous graphic designs for myself, family and friends ranging from brochures, postcards, flyers, logos, business cards, animated banners, ebooks, ebook covers, CD and DVD covers, digital based CD products and much more. I have created screen capture training videos, audio files and more. All as a side hobby for years.
I have successfully created my own digital products and sold them online with limited success. At various times over the years I have helped friends and family members to get their websites online. But I have done all of these things on a limited basis because I was curious and looked at it as a hobby only at that time.
For several years I had contemplated whether or not I should leave the medical field to pursue other career options and finally decided it was time in November 2015. I truly loved what I did in Physical Therapy but I knew that with all of the changes happening in medicine I was limiting myself and felt that I would not achieve my life goals.
So it took it took several months to finally cut the cord and make a move out of my previous medical career but I was more than ready for a change. As I move forward I am excited and looking forward to getting more involved with my online business goals.
I want to work to combine today’s technology with the marketing methods of the past because many of the old direct mail and marketing methods still work today. In fact I believe that many offline communication methods may be more effective today as so many people become so dependent on today’s’ high tech tools and forget about the old ways of communicating (i.e. face to face or handing out business cards and flyers, etc.).
Today I have two goals in mind, one is to share what I have learned about the Internet and online marketing with you. And secondly I want to build a nice passive income for myself and pursue the goals I have wanted to achieve for a long time.
I have started down that path with this website and will add additional websites in the future to make my goals a reality. I have been online for well over 10 years and I have made some money as a result of being online but I never pursued it seriously as a business. Mainly because I had a full time job I enjoyed and online marketing was more of a hobby for years.
But as I mentioned earlier things changed for me in November 2015 and here I am. I hope you find this site and its’ content both informative and helpful, either way if you have a comment share it.
